Gregory's Work
About Us

Introduced to the world of “cut and sew” by his mother, Mr. Lorde developed an interest in fashion design at a very early age. He attended the Wilfred’s Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture in Saint Lucia to hone his technical skills in couture and other aspects of high fashion. After his time at the Wilfred’s Academy he went on to study Fashion Marketing and Merchandising at the City College of San Francisco. Mr. Lorde then received a scholarship form the French Government to attend the Institute Paris Modeliste. While at the Paris Institute he was pronounced the winner of the “Best Hat” award at the Catherinate festival in 1996.

Mr. Lorde also has a passion for the development of the youth. Towards that end he attended the University of The West Indies where he pursued studies in youth development. Gregory Lorde is still actively involved in the St. Lucian fashion industry, and marries his two passions of fashion and youth development & counseling through participation in a number of pageants and other youth driven programs. This involvement in pageantry has seen his work repeatedly grace the bodies of a number of St. Lucian Carnival Queens, Saint Lucia’s Miss World International contestants and Miss Model International.
